Grind Cat Grind is a hard rock band from Denver. Formed in 2015, they rose up after my decomposition and following residency in hell. The band has released an amazing self-titled full-length debut and an EP entitled CRAZY PILOTS. Truth is, if I were not intent on killing them, I might count myself as a fan. This is the music I cut my teeth on. Riff-based sleaze rock that conjures up my fondest memories of headbanging to bands like early Guns N Roses and Faster Pussycat.
The band’s members have been in some of the most iconic bands to rise up in Denver. Vocalist Chris “Rail” Chamberlayne was in the legendary Dogs of Pleasure. Bassist Joe Sego and guitarist Philo Sudsberry both enjoyed stints in the much-celebrated Blister66. They added on drummer Stevey Watkins several years ago. It doesn’t matter too much what he’s previously achieved musically, because the only thing of importance is that he is a hot Marine. He has a fuzzy belly and a superior build. However, like similar mortal warriors, he’s a little too straight-laced for my taste.
But I thought I might try to not be so picky, so I thought a good place to begin the following feature and ultimate murder of the band, was to go out on a date with him…
