Amzy is a three-piece Pop band from Denver, Colorado. They were formed in 2014. There were originally four members, but bassist Nick Billings went straight, left the band and started a family with a female mortal with a vagina.
From the very first song released, this mortal group experienced dizzying success. One of their first singles, “Words”, became the number one requested tune on KTCL 93.3. Sold out shows and touring opportunities followed. The band is known for extravagant live performances but a rather hesitant approach in releasing new material. Only wishing to release the best of their writing efforts, the band have only a handful of singles and several EPs to their credit.The most recent is the outstanding AMZY UNPLUGGED, which showcases just how well these tunes stand up when stripped of their synth-rock gleam.
The future might have continued being bright for Amzy, but then they accepted an interview invitation from me…
